Not Suitable Nor Safe for Children. We have a meditative facility filled with lighted candles, small objects, delicate museum quality art, antiques and spiritual iconography.

Smoke-Free / Pet-Free inside and outside the facility. 

Arrival Time/Departure Time:  4PM /11AM  
Please call ahead to make other arrangements.

Two night minimum on weekends and holidays. Some special events and times during the year have more than a 2 night minimum - please inquire.

For our guests' privacy, please make prior arrangements with us for outside visitors. 
  
Our license allows: 2 guests per room maximum in the queen or king rooms.  The Monk's Bunk Room accommodates1 person.

Deposit: Rooms may be secured for the amount of the stay by credit card.
Your room will be considered reserved upon credit card confirmation or receipt of money order. 
 
We also accept Money orders in US currency for reservations made 30 days or more in advance if it is received within one week of when you called to make the reservation.

Cancellation & Refunds: Please phone or send a letter that is guaranteed to reach us at least twenty one (21) days before your reservation date. We will provide a cancellation code number and your choice of full refund or gift certificate for a future stay. Cancellations left on the answering machine or email may get lost and we can not guarantee their receipt. 

If a cancellation request is received on shorter notice, your room will be re-posted for availability. If all the days of your reservation are successfully booked, a full refund minus 10% service charge or $25, (whichever is greater) will be issued to you. If less than all of your reservation days are successfully booked, your refund will be equal to the full amount minus a 10% service charge or $25 (whichever is greater) and the un-booked days. For holidays and certain local events a four (4) week notice of cancellation is required for full refund. We will advise you of these dates upon reservation. No refund on early departure.

The Phuntsok House is privately owned and reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

We can not be responsible for: accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind. Items left behind will be held for two weeks and returned COD, upon request only.  Please contact us for additional policies and limitations which may apply.
